Who is the next governor of Bangla of Lord Clive?

 Clive was a British Army officer and statesman, born in England. He is known for his role in the British conquest of Bengal, for which the Nawab of Bengal, Mir Jafar, awarded Clive the title of 52nd Jagirdar of Bardhaman and the "Sword of Honour".  After the Battle of Plassey, he was made a member of the council at Murshidabad. Clive was also one of the founders of the Calcutta, as well as the founder of the city of Buckingham in what is today the state of Virginia, USA.  He was also known as a talented writer, and one of the first Englishmen to produce a major historical work in the Bengali language.

Robert Clive was a soldier, statesman, and colonial administrator who played a crucial role in the establishment of the British Empire in India. After the British East India Company's victory in the Battle of Plassey, he became one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in Britain. He is credited with securing a large swath of South Asia and the wealth that followed, for the British Empire. He is also remembered for his _Clive of India_ statue in London, which was the first to depict an Englishman in a typically Indian costume.

Robert Clive with his victory at the Battle of Plassey in 1757 is regarded as the founder of the British Empire in India. Obtaining this position through corruption, he served as Governor of Bengal for two years. After his death in 1774, Lord Cornwallis became the next governor of Bengal.
